Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tiburcio Gartzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Bonifacio Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Illan was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5th match minute, Charatas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Goren to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th match minute, Mazatlán CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Roldan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Isidro Kepa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charatas's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Kepa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Bonifacio Cordarrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Charatas's zone, Bonifacio Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Illan came out of the goal and Bonifacio Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Marciano Belasko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Illan, 1-0. Isidro Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Charatas's goalkeeper Ricardo Illan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marciano Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ricardo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mazatlán CF's Apolo Paio got a free kick in the 26th minute. Teofilo Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Kepa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Teofilo Guillen came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Charatas's Isidro Kepa. But to his dismay, Isidro Kepa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Tiburcio Gartzi came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Charatas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Gartzi couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Fernando Patrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazatlán CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charatas the free kick. Charatas's Tiburcio Gartzi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Mazatlán CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Patrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Danilo Rosio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mazatlán CF's Teofilo Guillen didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bonifacio Cordarrel got free with Ricardo Illan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Cordarrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Illan came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Mazatlán CF's Marciano Belasko. But to his dismay, Marciano Belasko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The supporters of Mazatlán CF booed when Charatas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Esdras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Charatas got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Ibañez. A collision led to Mazatlán CF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fernando Patrido hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Cordarrel in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Illan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th match minute, Charatas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Mederi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Charatas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Isaias Mederi hit a great ball. Teofilo Guillen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidro Kepa went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Bonifacio Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Marciano Goren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofilo Guillen skillfully saved the ball. Chants of Charatas echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mazatlán CF had held the ball for most of the match.
