When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ricardo Orlondo sped through SOMISA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kipras Vaitiekus. Niceto Gonsalve took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kipras Vaitiekus. Kipras Vaitiekus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 12th match minute, SOMISA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Macario to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Orlondo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kipras Vaitiekus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azul y Oro. SOMISA's Kipras Vaitiekus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Orlondo in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Cesar Ado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kipras Vaitiekus. SOMISA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Niceto Gonsalve came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Azul y Oro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Gonsalve couldn't finish the play. SOMISA's Kipras Vaitiekus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Orlondo in the 26th minute of play. Ricardo Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Gonsalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kipras Vaitiekus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SOMISA booed when Azul y Oro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Maxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Niceto Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kipras Vaitiekus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Orlondo in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Niceto Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azul y Oro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Kipras Vaitiekus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Orlondo went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Orlondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Azul y Oro's Niceto Gonsalve ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kipras Vaitiekus. Kipras Vaitiekus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. SOMISA's Kipras Vaitiekus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save SOMISA from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in SOMISA's zone, Niceto Gonsalve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kipras Vaitiekus came out of the goal and Niceto Gonsalve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andres Silbestre fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SOMISA's protests and gave Andres Silbestre a yellow card for diving instead. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Kipras Vaitiekus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 73rd minute of the match Aristides Justin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kipras Vaitiekus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnoldo Rozarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Nalo in the 78th minute of play. Francisco Papa charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Papa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Azul y Oro's Mauricio Maxin got a free kick in the 89th minute. SOMISA's Kipras Vaitiekus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SOMISA from getting a goal against them. After 96 played minutes SOMISA got a freekick which was hit by Marco Reuss. In the 100th minute, Niceto Gonsalve fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Azul y Oro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
