The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Hibai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, CUBA FENIX FC®'s goalkeeper Julio Chucho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Llorian. If Feliciano Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Feliciano Erauso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Chucho. CUBA FENIX FC®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Erauso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Dodorol in the 18th minute of play forced La Akdmia's goalkeeper Jonatan Hibai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Akdmia's Angelino Emenon got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, CUBA FENIX FC®'s Alejandro Dodorol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Hibai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Gervasio Cresconio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jonatan Hibai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 33 minutes, Gervasio Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUBA FENIX FC®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gervasio Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guaberto Gartxot fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CUBA FENIX FC®'s protests and gave Guaberto Gartxot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Akdmia booed when CUBA FENIX FC® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Cresconio in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to La Akdmia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Simon Llorian hit a great ball. Alejandro Dodorol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Hibai having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 53rd minute, Alejandro Dodorol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CUBA FENIX FC® fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 57 minutes into the match, Alejandro Dodorol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Hibai, 1-4. Alejandro Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jonatan Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Chucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Cresconio struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Jonatan Hibai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUBA FENIX FC®. In the 69th minute Feliciano Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Chucho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gervasio Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jonatan Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
