If Guillermo Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Cipriano Bernad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malvinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUNS N’ ROSES Uxx the free kick. The supporters of GUNS N’ ROSES Uxx booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Dida Reis made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Domingues. GUNS N’ ROSES Uxx's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Gentza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Gentza in the 52nd minute of play forced Malvinas's goalkeeper Borys Dres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Malvinas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malvinas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
