After 5 minutes, Erasmo Malvin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Nietos A.F.C and the Club Atlético Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julian Gombal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Victorino Berto. In the 15th minute Robustiano Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Gombal made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Inocencio Abadie sent off a good shot on target. When Gustavo Havier fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Talleres's protests and gave Gustavo Havier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Club Atlético Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Havier to maneuver through the defense. When Prospero Oroitz fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Talleres's Prospero Oroitz got a free kick in the 30th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Paul Baso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Placido Cordarrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Talleres defense, Efrain Gabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Cordarrel. The Club Atlético Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Cordarrel should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Inocencio Abadie hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Paul Baso got free in front of the goal in the 57th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Julian Gombal was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Los Nietos A.F.C's Efrain Gabino got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Gabino in the 68th minute of play forced Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Placido Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Gabino in the 69th minute of the match. If Paul Baso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Baso in the 73rd minute of play. Mariano Virila charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Virila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariano Virila hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Gabino in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Cordarrel saved Club Atlético Talleres from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Inocencio Abadie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julian Gombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efrain Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Talleres players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
