The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo Unai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Senin having to make a save. If Gaudencio Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Marucho's Justino Ranolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Hartz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mariano Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Hartz having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Chicha FC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Vistruario. In the 23rd minute, Pascual Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Chicha FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Meder. Ramiro Indartsu's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Freddy Hartz - 2-0 was put on the score board in the 28th minute. Freddy Hartz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Ranolfo in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Marucho's Gonzalo Firme got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Jaume in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Hartz saved Chicha FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Modesto Jaume took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Freddy Hartz to make any attempt to save it. Pascual Kimetz got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mariano Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Celso Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Justino Ranolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Eudoxio in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Marucho booed when Chicha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes, Marucho's Ramiro Indartsu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddy Hartz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marucho reached it. Celso Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gaudencio Eudoxio took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Cristo Senin to make any attempt to save it. Chicha FC's Freddy Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Colas in the 82nd minute of play. Freddy Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Jaume in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Marucho's Justino Ranolfo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Hartz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Marucho's Gonzalo Firme got a free kick in the 87th minute. Celso Lia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Senin having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marucho had won after a very even match.
