Gessler AFC's Vinzent Wimmelmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Gessler AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 24th match minute, Gessler AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes of play, Gessler AFC's Eduardo Anaya made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Estebano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucio Estebano came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Gessler AFC's Kerwin Marfurt. But to his dismay, Kerwin Marfurt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Gessler AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kerwin Marfurt to make the kick off. Lucio Estebano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduardo Anaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Vinzent Wimmelmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Martino in the 56th minute of play. Lucio Estebano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kerwin Marfurt in the 58th minute. Lucio Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Anaya in the 60th minute of the match. Federico Bide hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Iacovone in the 70th minute of play forced Gessler AFC's goalkeeper Vinzent Wimmelmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Mikelar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gessler AFC's zone, Anselmo Iacovone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinzent Wimmelmann came out of the goal and Anselmo Iacovone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Wieslaw Prusinowski put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Vinzent Wimmelmann. Vinzent Wimmelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Iacovone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerwin Marfurt got free with Lucio Estebano in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Salamon hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The supporters of Boston City booed when Gessler AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Eduardo Anaya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucio Estebano. The goal made the score 1-6. When the match was over Gessler AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boston City throughout the match.
