If Albano Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Oriol's late challenge caught a Gessler AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Oriol helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes of play, Yackers FC's Jorge Bernad made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinzent Wimmelmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jorge Bernad struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Vinzent Wimmelmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yackers FC. The supporters of Yackers FC booed when Gessler AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Intxixu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Emiliano Oriol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Vinzent Wimmelmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th match minute, Yackers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Rocendo to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Oliveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Anaya in the 41st minute of play. Aldo Rocendo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gessler AFC's Eduardo Anaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Oliveiro. That made the score 2-3 after 45 minutes of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yackers FC made a substitution. Santo Beltxe replaced Danilo Clementi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Bernad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gessler AFC had won after a very even match.
