Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Maximino Berdoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patricio Rey and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Patricio Rey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Belasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Veremundo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Gipuzkoa. Patricio Rey's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cosme Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Dominix in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Ovidio Dominix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Gipuzkoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Galeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Mario Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roberto Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Palmitas 's Ovidio Dominix in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patricio Rey's goalie prevented a goal. In the 31st match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. When Palmitas 's Ovidio Dominix in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patricio Rey's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Palmitas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Dominix to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Maximino Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Lope. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas 's zone, Ivan Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Tadzio came out of the goal and Ivan Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximino Berdoi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Tadzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Dominix in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Gipuzkoa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 78th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Viviano to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Ovidio Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Dominix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidio Dominix made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cosme Gipuzkoa would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 94th minute, Palmitas 's Fabricio Dacio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Fabricio Dacio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Palmitas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
