No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Rico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximino Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Rico's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Luisito Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Petri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Erubiel Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pagancillo FC's Maximino Napier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Erubiel Rico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Napier. Pagancillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Rico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Pagancillo FC's Maximino Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Rico in the 81st minute of play. Maximino Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Albano Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
