The supporters of Club Almagro booed when Pomona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Tino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Erauso in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Tino saved Club Almagro from getting behind. Froilan Rosio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Club Almagro's Christian Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Erauso in the 30th minute of play. Pomona FC's attentive Julio Nuno managed to snatch the ball when Rene Fernanco made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Desiderio Handi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Tino having to interfere. Lorenzo Erauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenzo Erauso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Tino. That made the score 0-3 in the 91 minute of play. Pomona FC's Desiderio Handi got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pomona FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
