Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Enrique Tristan made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Igor Gaizkine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chovet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Correo Argentino the free kick. Igor Gaizkine kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. C.A. Correo Argentino's Melquiades Ostargi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hipolito Martino, made in the 11th minute of the game. After 12 minutes, Luisito Sabin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chovet FC's Baltasar Mirande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Costel Itoafă hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. C.A. Correo Argentino's Luisito Sabin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Mirande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Ostargi in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Sabin in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Mirande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Enrique Tristan took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Abelardo Leheren to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th match minute, C.A. Correo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Ostargi to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Mirande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Sabin in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Luisito Sabin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chovet FC's Baltasar Mirande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Norberto Maiorga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Ostargi's late challenge caught a Chovet FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melquiades Ostargi helped the player get up and apologised. After 44th play minutes Luisito Sabin shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Baltasar Mirande and just under the crossbar into goal. The Chovet FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A. Correo Argentino were winning 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, Chovet FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Mirande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Confesor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Sabin in the 55th minute of play forced Chovet FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Mirande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Itoafă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Mirande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Correo Argentino's Luisito Sabin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Luisito Sabin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Mirande having to make a save. Baltasar Mirande was a little too slow when Luisito Sabin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-4. If Cristian Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Martino hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Hipolito Martino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Leheren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Luisito Sabin came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the C.A. Correo Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Sabin couldn't finish the play. After 97 played minutes C.A. Correo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Ostargi. When the match was over C.A. Correo Argentino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chovet FC throughout the match.
