Leonides Froylan might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Orlondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonides Froylan ran back to his position shaking his head. Candido Dayam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Ubaldo Esdras made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Orlondo. Chancho Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristobal Orlondo came out of the goal and Leonides Froylan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Leonides Froylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Universitario F.C.R's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Froylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Ubaldo Esdras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Orlondo. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 66th minute, Patricio Gilen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Firmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Universitario F.C.R booed when Chancho Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Orlondo was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Leonides Froylan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonides Froylan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. The Chancho Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Universitario F.C.R were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
