The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ceferino Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th match minute, Tolojna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Chap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Atilano Diaz made a huge save. In the 13th minute, KapodelSur's Félix Orte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ceferino Urtun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Bastia's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. A collision led to KapodelSur getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Feliciano Valente hit a great ball. When Tolojna AFC's Vicente Bastia in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 39 played minutes, Tolojna AFC's Bernardino Manex shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ceferino Urtun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tolojna AFC reached it. Ricardo Chap hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes KapodelSur got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Abaunza. In the 43rd minute of the match Marcelo Chorache shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Urtun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Oscar Beltza struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Atilano Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KapodelSur. In the 55th minute of the match, Vicente Bastia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ceferino Urtun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute Oscar Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Bastia in the 61st minute of play forced KapodelSur's goalkeeper Ceferino Urtun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Vicente Bastia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ceferino Urtun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A well-hit corner resulted in Bernardino Manex heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 67 played minutes Tolojna AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Oinatz. In the 71st match minute, KapodelSur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Orte to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Urtun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Bastia's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Unax during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tolojna AFC's Atilano Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Beltza in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Vicente Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Urtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Feliciano Valente came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the KapodelSur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Valente couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolojna AFC's Virgilio Castulo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ceferino Urtun. That made the score 2-1 after 91 minutes of play. Ceferino Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KapodelSur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
