When Ian Knutsson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silípica's protests and gave Ian Knutsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Silípica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ian Knutsson hit a great ball. Donato Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Errapel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Cugat in the 21st minute. Silípica's Donato Errapel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Silípica from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fuat Öktuna during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of HURACAN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Silípica:s goal. The wind increased when Carl Sandberg made the kick off in the second half. Donato Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Silva in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, HURACAN's Roque Truylos made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 66th match minute, Silípica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Munio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Silípica defense, Amílcar Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Errapel. The Silípica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Errapel should have stopped the shot.
