The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of BOCA JUNIORS booed when Cosme Fulanito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball. BOCA JUNIORS's Angelino Crispo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cosme Fulanito FC.

In the 54th minute, Delmar Honesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosme Fulanito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jacinto Ibar took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Maldonado. Fulgencio Maldonado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Braulio Lauren took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Fulgencio Maldonado to make any attempt to save it. Braulio Lauren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Maldonado having to make a save. When Jacinto Ibar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fulgencio Maldonado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fulgencio Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Hermon, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Fulgencio Maldonado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Braulio Lauren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 94 minute of play. Cosme Fulanito FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
