Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Mederi made the kick off and thus started the match. Astor Lartaun came out of the goal and Celestino Loreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Mederi took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Gentza. Ruperto Gentza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Damian Baladi charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Baladi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MARTIN PALERMO's Damian Baladi got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MARTIN PALERMO's zone, Basilio Norino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Lartaun came out of the goal and Basilio Norino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abraham French received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Astor Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Basilio Norino sped through MARTIN PALERMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Lartaun. After a rather tough play, MARTIN PALERMO's Lorenzo Cedro got a free kick in the 21st minute. Basilio Norino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Olayo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Celestino Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miranda were furious when Hilario Toro was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 31 minutes into the game, one of Miranda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Basilio Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Astor Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Lartaun made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Basilio Norino sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Orlando Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Basilio Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MARTIN PALERMO's Astor Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Norino in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Norino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Basilio Norino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Lartaun was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Alberto Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Lartaun having to interfere. After 55 played minutes MARTIN PALERMO got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Esquipula. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Norino in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Lartaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astor Lartaun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Norino's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Norino in the 60th minute of play forced MARTIN PALERMO's goalkeeper Astor Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maximino Ireno came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Miranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Ireno couldn't finish the play. In the 67thth minute of the game Basilio Norino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARTIN PALERMO's Astor Lartaun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, MARTIN PALERMO's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Norino came free, but Astor Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Basilio Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miranda's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Norino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Lartaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Basilio Norino sped through MARTIN PALERMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Astor Lartaun. Astor Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Loreto in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Basilio Norino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MARTIN PALERMO's Astor Lartaun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Basilio Norino made a precise shot to the right of Astor Lartaun. MARTIN PALERMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 88th minute Basilio Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th match minute, MARTIN PALERMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. When Basilio Norino came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Miranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Norino couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes, Miranda's Igor Orlanda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Astor Lartaun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miranda reached it.
