In the 10th match minute, ferrocarriloeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Vidman to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Natalio Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Bizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, ferrocarriloeste's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Ponciano came free, but Octavio Bizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Natalio Laurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, ferrocarriloeste's Manuel Chus got a free kick in the 18th minute. Octavio Bizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Octavio Bizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Laurin in the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Avila Viajes's Natalio Laurin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Bizi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Natalio Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Filomeno Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ferrocarriloeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Micael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Bizi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ferrocarriloeste's zone, Melquiades Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Bizi came out of the goal and Melquiades Flores tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Bizi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Octavio Bizi made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Melquiades Flores sent off a good shot on target. Natalio Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Bizi having to interfere. Melquiades Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avila Viajes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
