Adrian Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Feliciano Pio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquirenda AFC's Adrian Ospin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliciano Pio scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Ospin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Cambranes charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Cambranes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliciano Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silverio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Godofredo Casado made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57th match minute, Piquirenda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes Piquirenda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Rufio. 65 minutes into the match, Los nenkas boys's Feliciano Pio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacinto Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Pios short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Adrian Ospin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Godofredo Casado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Ospin having to make a save. Feliciano Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silverio Fernandez was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Los nenkas boys booed when Piquirenda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Pio in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Cambranes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Frantzes was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Piquirenda AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los nenkas boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
