Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastian Orixe kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Orixe in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Suero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Orixe in the 11th minute of play. C. A. River Plate's Andres Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Loreto in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to La Resaca De La Escoria getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lucas Gerazan hit a great ball. Uriel Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Suero having to interfere. In the 25th minute Blas Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Bernardino Nesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Uriel Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. River Plate's goalkeeper Andres Suero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

With his leg Andres Suero managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when La Resaca De La Escoria's Sebastian Orixe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th match minute, La Resaca De La Escoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. Blas Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Braulio Quinten fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Resaca De La Escoria's protests and gave Braulio Quinten a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Resaca De La Escoria's Braulio Quinten got a free kick in the 96th minute. La Resaca De La Escoria were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing C. A.
