Gustavo Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sebastian Orixe sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, La Resaca De La Escoria's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Hernando came free, but Felipe Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes La Resaca De La Escoria got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Mino. With a little luck, Puissoye's Gustavo Merexildo got control of the ball when Sebastian Orixe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustavo Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Mino in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Hernando in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Sugoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Sugoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Mero's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Sebastian Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Hernando might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Sugoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Hernando ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Orixe made a kick off. Gustavo Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Loreto in the 55th minute of play. Sebastian Orixe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Merexildo having to make a save. Gustavo Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Sugoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Puissoye's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Haroldo Baraquiel in the 67th minute. Puissoye's Haroldo Baraquiel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felipe Sugoi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, La Resaca De La Escoria's Blas Loreto got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Sebastian Orixe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Resaca De La Escoria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Isidro Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Resaca De La Escoria's Blas Loreto got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Orixe in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Braulio Quinten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gustavo Merexildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Loreto in the 93rd minute of the match. Gustavo Merexildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Mino went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the La Resaca De La Escoria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
