Elvio Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Berriotxoa in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, nuevo dep.monteagudo 2006's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Rumaldo came free, but Oliver Gerlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Urbasa during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danilo Urbasa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneize's goalkeeper Elvio Iago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Bruno Karlo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Iago. Bruno Karlo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 37 played minutes, nuevo dep.monteagudo 2006's Marco Claude shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elvio Iago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in nuevo dep.monteagudo 2006 reached it. The supporters of nuevo dep.monteagudo 2006 booed when Xeneize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute of the match Marco Claude sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Iago skillfully saved the ball. Oliver Gerlach made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Christian Ganix sent off a good shot on target. In the 61stth minute of the game Bruno Karlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xeneize's Elvio Iago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Christian Ganix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneize's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Ganix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Xeneize got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Neto. Xeneize's Elvio Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Karlo in the 77th minute of play. Elvio Iago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Karlo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Filiberto Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. nuevo dep.monteagudo 2006's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Berriotxoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Karlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Melquiades Rumaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The nuevo dep.monteagudo 2006 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Xeneize had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
