Robustiano Orlo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes in the game, Dag Löfkvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Saul Viator having to interfere. Dag Löfkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Viator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Löfkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Pet Malta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Oihan came free, but Robustiano Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Orlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Mazuste in the 36th minute of the match. Joel Matteo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jeremias Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porvenir's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Orlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Löfkvist got free with Saul Viator in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Porvenir were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Mazuste to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Jorge Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Orlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Dag Löfkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Viator. Porvenir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dag Löfkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Dag Löfkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pet Malta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Löfkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Viator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Balendin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Viator was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Saul Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Balendin in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Löfkvist in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Viator prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Dag Löfkvist put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Viator. Porvenir's Saul Viator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Löfkvist in the 79th minute of play. Robustiano Balendin struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Saul Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pet Malta SC. 83 minutes into the match, Pet Malta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Oihan came free, but Robustiano Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Jorge Oihan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robustiano Orlo, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Pet Malta SC's zone, Valentin Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Orlo came out of the goal and Valentin Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Pet Malta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pet Malta SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Porvenir to leave the ground with a draw.
