After some careless play in the La Vela Puerca FC defense, Prudencio Guifre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Oihenarte. The La Vela Puerca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Oihenarte should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 17 in the game by Guillermo Cordeal from a close distance when the talented Lucio Etxekopar managed to make a qualified save. River Plate Sports's players were relieved. The La Vela Puerca FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when La Vela Puerca FC's Eustacio Eneas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. La Vela Puerca FC's Bartolo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Lander in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Xorxe Villornate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Amancio Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River Plate Sports's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Xorxe Villornate 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Etxekopar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honorato Hanni hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Xorxe Villornate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When La Vela Puerca FC's Eustacio Eneas in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate Sports's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Lander in the 56th minute of play forced La Vela Puerca FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Etxekopar having to interfere. River Plate Sports's Lucio Etxekopar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Eneas in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, River Plate Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Eneas came free, but Lucio Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Eustacio Eneas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate Sports's Lucio Etxekopar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes River Plate Sports got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Hanni. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate Sports's zone, Guillermo Cordeal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Etxekopar came out of the goal and Guillermo Cordeal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Eneas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Etxekopar having to make a save. In the 79thth minute of the game Eustacio Eneas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate Sports's Lucio Etxekopar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate Sports's zone, Xorxe Villornate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Etxekopar came out of the goal and Xorxe Villornate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Vela Puerca FC made a substitution. Santiago Matai replaced Eustacio Eneas. In the 87th minute Guillermo Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rene Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vela Puerca FC's protests and gave Rene Txeru a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of River Plate Sports booed when La Vela Puerca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Julio Oto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Oihenarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the La Vela Puerca FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
