Vinicio Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Melchor Roland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vinicio Gizon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 18 in the game by Cristobal Pancho from a close distance when the talented Vinicio Gizon managed to make a qualified save. Wolfsburgo A.F.C's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Leizarraga in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Lobo saved CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Umea to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Pancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Gizon having to make a save. Vinicio Gizon came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB's Cristobal Pancho. But to his dismay, Cristobal Pancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Pancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Wolfsburgo A.F.C's goalkeeper Vinicio Gizon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Pancho hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Pablo Suero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Gizon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 46 minutes, Nicanor Iratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolfsburgo A.F.C and the CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Paulino Larra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nicanor Iratze made the kick off in the second half. If Paulino Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Iratze came free, but Baltasar Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Gizon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Larra in the 57th minute of play. Ariel Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Lobo having to interfere. Baltasar Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cristobal Pancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Gizon having to make a save. When CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB's Melchor Roland in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wolfsburgo A.F.C's Vinicio Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Pancho in the 69th minute of play. Vinicio Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Pancho in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB's Amador Umea got a free kick in the 74th minute. Melchor Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Clemencin during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vinicio Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Suero in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Amador Umea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Gizon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 90th minute, Melchor Roland made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Gizon. Wolfsburgo A.F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Paulino Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wolfsburgo A.F.C's Ramiro Bela got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CORDOBA FUTBOL CLUB fully deserved thier win.
