The crowd rose to their feet as Progresso's Gaston Iturri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonardo Maraman. That made the score 3-1 after 20 minutes of play. Marcial Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Maraman having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Maiorga came free, but Lázaro Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Nuxila in the 34th minute of play forced Progresso's goalkeeper Lázaro Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Leonardo Maraman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gaston Iturri in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Nestor Maju fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Progresso's protests and gave Nestor Maju a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Maju kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lázaro Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Maiorga in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Progresso getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Agustin Dino hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Nuxila to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gaston Iturri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Maraman was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Iturri in the 54th minute of play forced Colana FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Maraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Colana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Iturri came free, but Leonardo Maraman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Delmar Xacintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Leonardo Maraman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Leonardo Maraman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Garcia got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gaston Iturri. After some careless play in the Colana FC defense, Delmar Xacintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Maraman. The Colana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Maraman should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Xacintu in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Colana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Iturri came free, but Leonardo Maraman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
