Gallito Fútbol Club's Prudencio Eufemio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Oriol, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Godfredo Furtado could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Tiburcio Macias however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 11 minutes, Ulises Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lastenia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeronimo Tab charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Tab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Lastenia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Tab. Jacobo Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, Lastenia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Tab to maneuver through the defense. Gallito Fútbol Club's Tiburcio Macias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Gallito Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Tiburcio Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Emenon in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Emenon in the 31st minute of play forced Lastenia AFC's goalkeeper Ramiro Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lastenia AFC's Ulises Donio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiburcio Macias. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. 44 minutes into the match, Gallito Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Tiburcio Macias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Furtado. During the 45th minute of the match Jeronimo Tab completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeronimo Tab a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gallito Fútbol Club made a substitution. Luisito Primo replaced Casimiro Emenon. Jeronimo Tab hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacobo Gagriel to make the kick off. If Jacobo Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Gagriel in the 66th minute of play. Gallito Fútbol Club's Tiburcio Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Donio in the 69th minute of play. The throw-in from Lorenzo Romo in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gallito Fútbol Club's Marcos Peter. Tiburcio Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tiburcio Macias came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lastenia AFC's Godfredo Furtado. But to his dismay, Godfredo Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Orkatz got free with Ramiro Marques in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Gallito Fútbol Club's Prudencio Eufemio got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Godfredo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
