Spectators: 6626 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serban Filimon started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Serafin Guilabertus threw the ball into play from the sideline. Angulas's Silverio Llorenc quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an all-out effort, Angulas's Dedê de Godoy threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernabe Atarratze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucas Gonsalve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Astigar went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Cordarrel during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serban Filimon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Dedê de Godoy made a huge save. After 13 minutes Tacuaruzú's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Jakes who took care of the corner kick. Anselmo Jakes made a great header on Angulas's corner, it was just that Tacuaruzú's Dedê de Godoy managed to reach the ball for a save. Dedê de Godoy made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Serban Filimon sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Tacuaruzú's goalkeeper Dedê de Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serban Filimon. Dedê de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Atarratze in the 19th minute of play. Lucas Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Onbera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tacuaruzú getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marcelo Cisco hit a great ball. Dedê de Godoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Atarratze went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Tacuaruzú's Dedê de Godoy got control of the ball when Serban Filimon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Santiago Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serban Filimon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Guaberto Onbera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tacuaruzú getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rogelio Eron hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Serban Filimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Atarratze in the 46th minute of play forced Tacuaruzú's goalkeeper Dedê de Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Lander, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Angulas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Róbert Takács was slow to take the kick. During this time Tacuaruzú's players had a chance to rest. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Onbera was the one to do the kick off. Tacuaruzú's Dedê de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serban Filimon in the 55th minute of play. Dedê de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Salvador Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lucas Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Tacuaruzú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Astigar to maneuver through the defense. Tacuaruzú's Dedê de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Atarratze in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Serban Filimon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedê de Godoy was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Marcelo Cisco fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacuaruzú's protests and gave Marcelo Cisco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Marcelo Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Tacuaruzú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Lander to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Benitez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Tacuaruzú:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Angulas:s goal. Inocencio Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dedê de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Atarratze in the 91st minute of play forced Tacuaruzú's goalkeeper Dedê de Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Atarratze spun around in front of the goal 91 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tacuaruzú's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Atarratze in the 93rd minute of play forced Tacuaruzú's goalkeeper Dedê de Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Serban Filimon notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tacuaruzú's Dedê de Godoy. Dedê de Godoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedê de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Atarratze in the 99th minute of play. Rogelio Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. Angulas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
