Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Margand FC's Everardo Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Pio in the 11th minute of play. Omar Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Gai having to make a save. Omar Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roman Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Margand FC booed when Divisoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Omar Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everardo Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Olando, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Everardo Berdoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Hanni in the 24th minute. With 25 minutes on the clock, Desiderio Fidensio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 26th minute, Desiderio Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Laureano Pio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divisoria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Margand FC the free kick. In the 35th minute, Valentin Malvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mykola Kazymyrchyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mykola Kazymyrchyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Margand FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mykola Kazymyrchyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Gai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mykola Kazymyrchyk was the one to do the kick off. Margand FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
