Spectators: 6636 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niceto Derwin made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Milagro FC's goalkeeper Abel Ferman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abel Ferman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Perico in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Milagro FC's Jairo Lazcano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jairo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alvaro Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Niceto Derwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Christian Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Derwin might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Marin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Derwin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Niceto Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Marin was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Raul Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes, Milagro FC's Elvio Lluciano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Marin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Milagro FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Milagro FC's Niceto Derwin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Derwin in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 28 played minutes Abasto got a freekick which was hit by Raul Egoi. In the 32nd minute Jairo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alvaro Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Lazcano in the 41st minute of play forced Abasto's goalkeeper Alvaro Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Abel Ferman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Derwin in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Marin saved Abasto from getting behind. If Alfredo Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Che stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Derwin might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Marin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Derwin ran back to his position shaking his head. Jairo Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Niceto Derwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Marin. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Jairo Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeronimo Oliveiro made in the 67th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andres Che. Niceto Derwin struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Alvaro Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milagro FC. When Andres Che came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Abasto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Che couldn't finish the play. Niceto Derwin came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvaro Marin could save by the left post. Alvaro Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Derwin in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Servando in the 80th minute of play forced Milagro FC's goalkeeper Abel Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Milagro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Servando came free, but Abel Ferman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Abasto's goalkeeper Alvaro Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Lazcano. With a little luck, Abasto's Alvaro Marin got control of the ball when Niceto Derwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Milagro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Che came free, but Abel Ferman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Milagro FC defense, Andres Che kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Ferman. The Milagro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Ferman should have stopped the shot. Milagro FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
