Ramon Mel came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelo Tristan could save by the left post. Freddy Abar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Sayveon struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Angelo Tristan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapallar. 18 minutes in the game, Freddy Abar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Angelo Tristan having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Ramon Mel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Freddy Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Tristan having to interfere. Aquilino Sindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Canor's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Ramon Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Tristan having to interfere. Quilaquina's Angelo Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Quilaquina from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Abar was the one to do the kick off. Freddy Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Canor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Aquilino Sindo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th minute of the match Manuel Marquez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Tristan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ramon Mel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Tristan. Angelo Tristan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Angelo Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Abar in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Clodoveo Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes, Freddy Abar made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Quilaquina's Angelo Tristan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquilino Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Mel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Angelo Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Quilaquina booed when Zapallar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quilaquina were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Zapallar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Justo Erasto took the corner. When the referee ended the match the Zapallar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
