The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Montae got free with Cirilo Eguzki in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Cayetano Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Paulo Gelacio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Paez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albano Urbez charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Urbez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, los monchitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Urbez to maneuver through the defense. los monchitos's Ernesto Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Gelmiro in the 18th minute of play. Florentino Montae took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Eguzki. Cirilo Eguzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Tab in the 26th minute of play forced Pocoy's goalkeeper Cirilo Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Urbez might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Eguzki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Urbez ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 32 minutes, Florentino Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los monchitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Montae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Gelacio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sixto Viator made the kick off in the second half. Evelio Intxixu's shot from long distance in the 53rd minute was not bad at all, but los monchitos's Ernesto Paez knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. los monchitos's Ernesto Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save los monchitos from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Astor Tab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Eguzki was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, los monchitos's Astor Tab nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Eguzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 64 minutes of play, los monchitos's Florentino Montae made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Eguzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Astor Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, los monchitos's Ernesto Paez got control of the ball when Ariel Gelmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Florentino Montae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Eguzki was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Albano Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Florentino Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Florentino Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Gelmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Paez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. los monchitos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
