Florencio Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Berenguer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Rugbiersitos's Braulio Guerrero got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Florencio Kauldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Rugbiersitos's Danilo Berenguer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Berenguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Kauldi in the 12th minute of play. Generoso Osorio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Generoso Osorio got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mario Pacorro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Desiderio Chaime had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Guerrero. Desiderio Chaime stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Min's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Mario Pacorro got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Genaro Kusko. 34 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when David Min came free, but Desiderio Chaime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Florencio Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Kauldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boca Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Reynaldo Filipo scored to the left of an out of position Desiderio Chaime, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Kauldi to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Berenguer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Emmanuel went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Boca Juniors's Epifanio Eztebe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adrian Jerold in the 57 minute of the game. Tiburcio Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiburcio Lorenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Tiburcio Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Chaime came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Rugbiersitos's David Min. But to his dismay, David Min quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Florencio Kauldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Pacorro made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Boca Juniors's Nicasio Beltza. Florencio Kauldi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Danilo Berenguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. The throw-in from Genaro Kusko in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boca Juniors's Florencio Kauldi. If Ubaldo Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Los Rugbiersitos got a freekick which was hit by Albino Abalos.
