The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Valente to make the kick off. Ricardo Kelemen made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Narciso Valente however managed to control. Rosendo Abad's late challenge caught a sarandi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Abad helped the player get up and apologised. Rosendo Abad hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rosendo Abad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Iraido made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Lyuboslav Momchev sent off a good shot on target. When Lyuboslav Momchev came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Escobar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyuboslav Momchev couldn't finish the play. Lyuboslav Momchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyuboslav Momchev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Leonardo Iraido made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lyuboslav Momchev got free with Leonardo Iraido in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Ricardo Kelemen in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Escobar's Rosendo Abad. After a defensive mix-up in sarandi's zone, Blas Platon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Iraido came out of the goal and Blas Platon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Ricardo Kelemen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Escobar's Rosendo Abad quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Escobar's Rosendo Abad got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of sarandi booed when Escobar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyuboslav Momchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Lyuboslav Momchev fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonardo Iraido, passed just outside the right post. Escobar's attentive Rosendo Abad managed to snatch the ball when Ricardo Kelemen made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in sarandi's zone, Lyuboslav Momchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Iraido came out of the goal and Lyuboslav Momchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lyuboslav Momchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyuboslav Momchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Leonardo Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes in the game Ricardo Kelemen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Narciso Valente. Escobar played a much better game than sarandi and deserved their victory. The sarandi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
