After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Octavio Martxelin managed to get in a good position for a shot. chanchudito futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Martxelin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Cordarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Beturian might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Cordarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Beturian ran back to his position shaking his head. When Octavio Martxelin got free in front of the goal in the 25th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Roque Cordarius was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Julian Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 28 in the game by Octavio Martxelin from a close distance when the talented Roque Cordarius managed to make a qualified save. C.A. Mens Sana's players were relieved. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Beturian made a kick off.
