Cabal FC's Tiburcio Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Garci in the 13th minute of play. Tiburcio Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Itzaina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Apolo Garci came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Josesito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Garci couldn't finish the play. Apolo Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tiburcio Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Gomesano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Gaufred in the 22nd minute of the match. The Josesito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cabal FC's zone, Samuel Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Gomesano came out of the goal and Samuel Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Apolo Garci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Josesito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a rather tough play, Josesito FC's Apolo Garci got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Cabal FC defense, Salvador Itzaina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Gomesano. The Cabal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Gomesano should have stopped the shot. After the first half Josesito FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Apolo Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Gomesano having to interfere. Salvador Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tiburcio Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Gomesano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Apolo Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Josesito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Garci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Gomesano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jimeno Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Gitano hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Salvador Itzaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tiburcio Gomesano made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, Cabal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Bladi to maneuver through the defense. When Tomás Poz came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Josesito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Poz couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Leonel Gaufred notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Cabal FC's Tiburcio Gomesano. Tiburcio Gomesano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Josesito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Gaufred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Gomesano having to interfere. Tiburcio Gomesano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Gaufred's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Leonel Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tiburcio Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josesito FC's Leonel Gaufred got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabal FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gomesano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Leonel Gaufred got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
