A collision led to Rolón AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Higinio Obano hit a great ball. Salvador Camerino's late challenge caught a Rolón AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Camerino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rolón AFC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Salvador Camerino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Eusko was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Flavio Iztal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Albino Hanot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Albino Hanot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolón AFC. In the 24th match minute, Rolón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Timo to maneuver through the defense. Julio Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palermo's Albino Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Heriberto in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rolón AFC the free kick. Teobaldo Luzaide hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rolón AFC's Silvio Eusko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Rolón AFC from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Foro. 35 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Iztal came free, but Albino Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Anselmo Heriberto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rolón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Camerino came free, but Silvio Eusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Heriberto in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Hanot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Flavio Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Camerino in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Eusko saved Rolón AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Julio Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Eusko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Bastia kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Silvio Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Ihazintu in the 73rd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Heriberto in the 94th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Albino Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Salvador Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Camerino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rolón AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
