In the 11thth minute of the game Dino de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela's Vicente Paez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 15 minutes, Tobias Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Neron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Eleazar got free with Feliberto Asteri in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gaudencio Mercurio came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Traigan Vino Copas Sobran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Mercurio couldn't finish the play. With 21 minutes on the clock, Rafael Eladio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Traigan Vino Copas Sobran fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Aaron Feo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Dino de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Traigan Vino Copas Sobran were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Neron to strike the kick off in the second half. Dino de Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Vicente Paez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 61 minutes, Tobias Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Neron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dino de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Min hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Dino de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Paez. Rafaela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Per-Erik Ekström fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Traigan Vino Copas Sobran's protests and gave Per-Erik Ekström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Traigan Vino Copas Sobran getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Per-Erik Ekström hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Tobias Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rafaela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Neron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes Rafaela got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Feo. After 87 minutes, Modesto Gregory mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafaela and the Traigan Vino Copas Sobran players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Modesto Gregory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Rafaela's Vicente Paez got control of the ball when Dino de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Traigan Vino Copas Sobran's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Neron came free, but Feliberto Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 minutes Traigan Vino Copas Sobran's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aaron Feo who took care of the corner kick. Traigan Vino Copas Sobran's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
