Goldney City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Leonides Chesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Munio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonides Chesus ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half I.M.P.S.A. Sport Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Chesus to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Goldney City got a freekick which was hit by Iván Lecuna. 55 minutes into the game, Leonides Chesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Candido Munio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Candido Munio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafin Arlo in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Chesus in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Munio saved Goldney City from getting behind. Candido Munio was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Leonides Chesus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonides Chesus really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. In the 88th minute, Leonides Chesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The I.M.P.S.A. Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. Leonides Chesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Munio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to I.M.P.S.A. Sport Club getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Angelo Galsino hit a great ball.
