Nemesio Niguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Acebal's Primitivo Ortzi got control of the ball when Benedicto Txomin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Acebal's zone, Santos Fidensio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Ortzi came out of the goal and Santos Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nemesio Niguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Primitivo Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Bermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Bermudo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nemesio Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Primitivo Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Gregor Wallis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acebal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ituzaingó FC the free kick. After 35 played minutes Acebal got a freekick which was hit by Gregor Wallis. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ricardo Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ituzaingó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Telesforo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Ortzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Primitivo Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucian Trandafir lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Txomin made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Benedicto Txomin made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Ortzi. Acebal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Primitivo Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Txomin in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Acebal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Wallis to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Santos Fidensio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Acebal's Gregor Wallis got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Leonel Musko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acebal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Musko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaroslaw Franzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Primitivo Ortzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Telesforo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Ricardo Telesforo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Acebal's Primitivo Ortzi. Primitivo Ortzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th match minute, Acebal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Wallis to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Benedicto Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Ortzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benedicto Txomin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ituzaingó FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Txomin couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, one of Acebal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee ended the match the Ituzaingó FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
