Arsenio Palos came out of the goal and Andres Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Luciano Esdras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chumbicha's Arsenio Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Xabier in the 40th minute of play. Arsenio Palos came out of the goal and Wilfredo Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute Wilfredo Xabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Palos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Domingos Cordeal made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Wilfredo Xabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Selatse in the 56th minute of play forced Chumbicha's goalkeeper Arsenio Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Xabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Palos having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Lisandro Danel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Euskadi AFC and the Chumbicha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Armando Sugar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 79 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Chumbicha's Arsenio Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Selatse in the 83rd minute of play. Desiderio Onbera kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Andres Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Arsenio Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Palos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Euskadi AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
