Spectators: 7063 (Terracing: 5299, Seating: 1624, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mateo Jurgi kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Blanco in the 5th minute of play forced Sangre Roja FC's goalkeeper Oscar Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Dabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Blanco in the 7th minute of play. Carmelo Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Dabi having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Fabian Eliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oscar Dabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Eliu in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Dabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Dabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fabian Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Sangre Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Blanco came free, but Oscar Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Fabian Eliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Dabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes Sangre Roja FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelino Truylos who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sangre Roja FC's goalie and right to Carmelo Blanco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Sangre Roja FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Carmelo Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Dabi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Eliu in the 30th minute of play forced Sangre Roja FC's goalkeeper Oscar Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sangre Roja FC's Fernan Lop got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sangre Roja FC's Oscar Dabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Blanco in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Carmelo Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Dabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carmelo Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Blanco couldn't finish the play. After the first half Rivadavia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Blanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sangre Roja FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cosme Iaki hit a great ball. When Fabian Eliu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Eliu couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Sangre Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Blanco came free, but Oscar Dabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Eliu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Oscar Dabi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabian Eliu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Oscar Dabi made a huge save. Sangre Roja FC's Oscar Dabi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sangre Roja FC from getting a goal against them. Honorio Remir came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Sangre Roja FC's Mateo Jurgi. But to his dismay, Mateo Jurgi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 81st minute, Alfonso Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Carmelo Blanco took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Oscar Dabi to make any attempt to save it. Rivadavia's Carmelo Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Dabi made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fabian Eliu sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Dabi having to interfere. Rivadavia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
