Bruno Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Aztore in the 8th minute of play. Eleuterio Huly charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Huly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Quirce in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Checa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cosme Quirce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Checa was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Apolo Aztore notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cámbrico Inferior's Bruno Checa. Bruno Checa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Israel Emeterio came free in the 27th minute and tried to tip the ball over Tadeo Ignatius, but to the joy of Esquina FC's supporters the ball went over. When Cosme Quirce fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquina FC's protests and gave Cosme Quirce a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 minutes, Cosme Quirce made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cámbrico Inferior's Bruno Checa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Apolo Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Esquina FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Ignatius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Emeterio. After a defensive mix-up in Esquina FC's zone, Israel Emeterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Ignatius came out of the goal and Israel Emeterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Aztore to strike the kick off in the second half. Cámbrico Inferior's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Apolo Aztore scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Checa, making the score, 0-4. Israel Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tadeo Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Emeterio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Israel Emeterio fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 78th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Tadeo Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Cruz in the 80th minute of play. Cámbrico Inferior's Bruno Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Porfiro in the 87th minute of play. Israel Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tadeo Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Esquina FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cámbrico Inferior side.
