Braulio Goyo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to Legionarios Atletic Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Raymundo Estruch hit a great ball. Prospero Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Txartiko in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Delmiro Cedro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Braulio Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymundo Estruch in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Txurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Raymundo Estruch put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Braulio Txurio. Alberto Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Garcia having to interfere. Legionarios Atletic Club's Prospero Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Goyo in the 38th minute of play. Prospero Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Txartiko in the 45th minute of play. Prospero Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Goyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Legionarios Atletic Club were furious when Vladimiro Lawrence was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Amanal. Bruno Paublo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Prospero Garcia. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymundo Estruch made a kick off. Casimiro Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Prospero Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Garcia made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Casimiro Liher sent off a good shot on target. Prospero Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Txartiko in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Christopher Markusson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legionarios Atletic Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amanal the free kick. Christopher Markusson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Amanal's Casimiro Liher dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. A hard shot by Jacobo Jaizki from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Prospero Garcia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 77th minute Alberto Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Legionarios Atletic Club's goalkeeper Prospero Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Liher. Prospero Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Goyo got free with Prospero Garcia in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Legionarios Atletic Club defense, Braulio Goyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Garcia. The Legionarios Atletic Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Garcia should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Jacobo Jaizki in the 96th minute really tested Prospero Garcia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Prospero Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Txartiko in the 100th minute of play.
