The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Scibilia got free with Igor Normando in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lescanos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Leon Rencio scored to the left of an out of position Igor Normando, making the score, 1-1. Bruno Cordeara took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Veiga. Dorival Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lescanos FC's goalkeeper Igor Normando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorival Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Romulo Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortadera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Cesaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Normando was a little too slow when Leon Rencio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leon Rencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. There was no doubt that Cortadera were the better team. Cortadera's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
