Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Efraim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Mannie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was beautiful to see Vila's Pastor Efraim in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Darregueira AFC were furious when Edgardo Sauveur was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Darregueira AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! 96 minutes into the game, Vila's Andres Crescencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Mannie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Vila players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
