Leo Urtungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramos mejia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Urdaspal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Patagonia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Katia. Oscar Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Guaberto Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Urdaspal to strike the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Guaberto Theobald made a huge save. Guaberto Theobald was a little too slow when Oscar Urdaspal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-5. When Felix Vistruario came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ramos mejia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Vistruario couldn't finish the play. If Abelardo Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oscar Urdaspal struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Guaberto Theobald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramos mejia FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Abelardo Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramos mejia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Claus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Theobald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Vistruario got free with Guaberto Theobald in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Oscar Urdaspal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Theobald was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Oscar Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Ramos mejia FC booed when Patagonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Claus scored 0-6 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Theobald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Ramos mejia FC's Felix Vistruario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guaberto Theobald. Guaberto Theobald yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7.
