After a rather tough play, Pura Ft2's Bernardo Restu got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Marciano Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dream Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pura Ft2 the free kick. Marciano Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Urbano Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thom Nevin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thom Nevin in the 45th minute of play forced Dream Team's goalkeeper Urbano Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alvaro Berto fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dream Team's protests and gave Alvaro Berto a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 57thth minute of the game Bernardo Restu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dream Team's Urbano Mitxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pura Ft2's Edelmiro Primo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pura Ft2 from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the match, Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Nevin came free, but Urbano Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes, Thom Nevin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pura Ft2 and the Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card.
