In the 64th minute, Rene Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Atarratze in the 66th minute of the match. Erubiel Mergildo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Rene Blanco sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Alvaro Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Erubiel Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Erubiel Mergildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manzana Team. When Atilano Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manzana Team's protests and gave Atilano Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manzana Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Fulton AFC's Erubiel Mergildo got control of the ball when Rene Blanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fulton AFC's zone, Samuel Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Mergildo came out of the goal and Samuel Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rene Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Mergildo having to interfere. Rene Blanco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Mergildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Samuel Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manzana Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Manzana Team defense, Alvaro Bernard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Olo. The Manzana Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Olo should have stopped the shot. Manzana Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
