After the first half Manzana Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Samuel Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Evelio Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rene Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzana Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Marcones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Olo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Manzana Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than sportivo curruspin.
